Harvest Bread
Company, the first Featured Business on Sterling Ridge Village
Association's web site. Great Harvest Bread Company has close to
200 bakeries, and our bakery in Sterling Ridge has truly exemplified
their mission. Rather than relying on traditional advertising,
the bakery lets their bread do the talking. Some of their contributions
to our neighborhood include
donating bread baskets for a schools' silent auctions, donating "Bread
for a Year" to other fund-raising events and donating breadsticks
to a Boy Scout troop's spaghetti dinner.
Great Harvest is family-owned / operated by Marty and Deb Fox
and opened in the Sterling Ridge Shopping Center in January 2001.
When asked about why they chose this part of The Woodlands for
their bakery, Marty indicated that he wanted to be in a shopping
center in a new area and grow with the community. Marty and Deb's
goal is for every customer to be a repeat customer, and they have
a bread punchcard program to reward those returning customers.
They must be doing a great job since they have some customers working
on their 28th bread card!
