The 2025 annual Sterling Ridge Village Fishing Festival looked like it may be a rainy one, but the weather held off and everyone had a great time. Over forty kids and their parents came out to catch some fish at our super Pepperdale Park. Once again, our great sponsor The Toasted Yolk served some great breakfast food.

There were awards for biggest fish and most fish caught in three age groups. The winners were:

Group I (1-7) - Largest Fish - Lucas C. Most Fish Caught - Haleigh R.

Group II (8-10) - Largest Fish - James S. Most Fish Caught - Remy L.

Group III (11-15) - Largest Fish - Juan G. Most Fish Caught - Maxim S.

At this event is, our aim is to leave the park in better condition than we found it. We had fun and caught a lot of fish, while taking the opportunity to clean up the park and pond. See you next year.
